Ever wanted to join the US military forces just because you want to? Not because of necessity, money for school or the need to kill. I’m talking about looking at a commercial and feel that somehow you have the need to wear the uniform, the need to have the skills, the pride of going up ranks, the chance to control today’s most sophisticated vehicles, planes and weapons, the feel to know that you’re fighting for the lives of those you love and your country. I would like to feel that way, ev...

I remember the days of Sesame Street and Reading Rainbow, these and others such as 3-2-1 Contact and Mr. Rogers Neighborhood were responsible for most of my good grades in school. I watched these shows with passion and hardly missed n episode. I learned so much from them that teachers were sometimes amazed at things I knew for my age. But what about today? What cartoons do we have today to yield similar results to today’s generation of tots? Being a parent, I get a chance to watch and com...

I saw this on The Discovery Channel on Future Weapons. The Corner Shot is a gadget that resembles an automatic weapon that allows you to mount many types of hand guns to the front of it and with its bending feature, thru a small lever under the gadget it can bend the Corner Shoot around the middle, it allows you to shoot the gun around a corner without exposing yourself at all. The Corner Shot has a mounted camera allowing you to see around the corner of a structure without exposing y...

You all should know by now I’m a big 80’s fan. I love the music, music videos, movies and yes the girls. But I also have another passion, cartoons of the 80’s. I’ll never forget those great cartoons such as He-Man, Galaxy Rangers, Voltron, Fat Albert, G.I. Joe and my all time favorite M.A.S.K. As good as some cartoons are now a days, they just can’t compare to those of the 80’s. Sure there are a few exceptions such as Dragonball Z Gundu...

The true meaning of being a half brotherThe Half Brother ChroniclesIt saddens me to have the words "half brother" as part of my life today. Since I could be aware of anything I have always believed I had 2 bothers and 2 sisters. A brother and sister from my Mom's side and a brother and sister from my dad's side. Never did I before consider any of them my half brothers, I couldn't even figure out the meaning of the 2 words put together. After all, a half brother is still a brother no matter ho...

I love the US, wouldn’t change it for any other country in the world, not even for Puerto Rico where my parents are from. I was born in Jersey City NJ and regardless of what anyone says I am an American just like the children of those who migrated to this country over 200 years ago when the US was just starting to grow. I have never actually called myself Puerto Rican, especially when I moved to Puerto Rico at the age of 8 (worst idea my mother ever had and worst thing the could have happened...

Does everyone here understand the concept of “hands free headsets” for cell phones? Duh, the name alone should say it all. Hands free meaning you don’t need to use your hands when using a cell phone to talk. It leaves you hands free to do other things, like driving (not recommended), typing, writing and even making up and down movements with your hands while holding you private parts. To me this was a great idea, even better when the cord connecting the cell phone to the headset was cut off w...

So, how many here like Latin music? Even though I was born in New Jersey, my Latin background and the love for its music is undeniable. The moment I set foot in Puerto Rico at the age of 8 to live Salsa became my music of life. Though I never really learned to dance salsa really good, trust me it’s not easy, I still loved listening to it and learning all the lyrics. Today I have , what I consider, a great collection of the best songs from the best Latin singers of many genres like El Gran ...

I wouldn't say I am an encyclopedia when it comes to the 80's but I'm a big fan of the music, the style, the culture but most of all the girls. I have a great collection of 80's music that is still growing. Everyday I listen to a few songs just to remind me of the good old days. I also like many 80's movies, my favorite is Back to the Future. Can't get enough of Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd and their funny confusions thru out the movie. I am, however, sad that my love for the 80's ...

Strange the things that can come to mind when watching a movie. I was watching the movie “Fun With Dick And Jane” the other night, no this is not a review on this movie, though I have to say Jim Carey can still make me laugh till it hurts. This is his best movie since Bruce Almighty. Anyways, an interesting movie about how a family, where the father worked in the corporate world and was being promoted, found themselves in chaos when his company’s stock dropped faster than a skydiver without a...

Amongst all the things I dream of having someday, a dream machine exist, a 1969 Chevy Camaro Convertible. This vehicle, considered a Muscle Car, has been part of the American lifestyle for over 30 years and it has been the fierce rival of the Ford Mustang since. I first fell in love with this car when I was about 12 years old when I built my first model car. It just happen to be a 1975 Camaro, but I didn't even know it when I built it. Ever since I was hooked on the Camaro. I love all mod...

Law: legal document setting forth rules governing a particular kind of activity; "there is a law against kidnapping". Crime: A crime in a broad sense is an act that violates a political or moral law. In the narrow sense, a crime is a violation of the criminal law. Criminal: someone who has committed (or been legally convicted of) a crime. It seems clear to me that a violation of a law is a crime and he who violates the law is a criminal. So why are there so many people making protest c...

Keep in mind this is only an idea, a possibility that I can’t really prove but I consider to be very possible. A Conspiracy Theory I guess. What if I told you that the deficit that we see everyday in the news, that we hear from some peoples mouths does not exist. What if I told you that all that interest that we are supposedly going to pay is nothing but a false. Can any of this be true? Why not? Has anyone ever asked themselves where does Bush get all this money to fund the war in Iraq...

I’m already 30 years old, and my life seems worse than ever. I tend to reminisce about the good old days just so I don’t lose my mind. Everything I have ever dreamed of has gone down the drain and I have reached a point that I don’t even know what to do with what I have now in my life, I fear doing anything drastic that might cause me to lose what I have left. But after a lot of think I have come to the conclusion that the only way to better my life is to make some really drastic changes to m...
