I remember the times when the only fast foods that took Visas and debit cards were in the airports. I was always curious why fast foods on the streets did not take them when just about every store around did. Well times have changed and most fast foods now take credit and debit cards. I personally think it’s great to use my debit card; I don’t have to worry about having money in my pockets, having enough on me or the change that jingles when you walk. Ah, but that’s where this article is h...

Well, I personally can’t believe it myself. I have now joined the elite group of those who have to 2 jobs. It’s not too bad. I’m actually pretty lucky to have found 2 jobs that pay pretty well and are very easy. It actually feels good knowing I am doing the right thing this time around. I made calculations and I have enough left over every month to enjoy life a little better. This is without my wife working yet, once my oldest son starts school and we put my youngest in a daycare, she will lo...

LOL, this is a great site. You come here with the point of responding to articles that average people write. But what happens when you write something the blogg writer doesn't like? You get banned. LOL, this is great stuff. Here we have a person who thinks that she has to give her piece of mind to every person she doesn't agree with and she takes it a step further to basically insult the person just because she wants to, yet she uses the same power she so much hates. Well folks, don't worr...

I’m a big fan of fast food. Thru out the years I’ve learned a thing or two on how to shop at fast foods. There was always the problem of missing items or wrong orders. Another thing I hated a lot was the waiting time. I never understood how some places would take long on an empty drive thru while in other locations of the same fast food service was great. One thing however tends to irritate me the most is the lack of condiments in my bag. I came to understand the reason behind not always ge...

It's been a while since I have posted here, about 3 or 4 weeks. I'm sure that's not much for some but for me, an online addict, it's a lot. I miss the arguments, the nonsense and the good stuff. I have no PC at the moment so my posting is limited to my visits to the library, such as today. Well, my new journey has not yielded any jobs yet but I have lots of faith that something will come around soon. I do have some minor problems that I believe are the cause for my not finding a job yet, ...

Well, my time has come. It's only a few days before I begin my new journey back in the US again. I hope things go better this time around, I know it's all up to me. I have a lot of work to do, a lot of catching up. I have to get married, study computers to get a better job, pay off my bills and reestablish my credit. This must be do before the real work begins, a new car, my own house, college fund for the kids. I will try my best, I will not let anything or anyone stand in my way, I have fai...

You probably think that I'm about to talk nice about my sister. Sorry to burst your bubble. My sister is a very interesting person, she has an uncanny ability to not wonder if her own family membres might need a hand on something. Here's what just happened. At the moment I have no car, my car is having alternator problems and I can't afford to fix it at the moment, so I use my bike to go to work. I had to go get some things at a town far away and needed to borrow her car. No problem, I ...

Well, the first steps of my new journey have been finally taken. I know have the official date of my arrival back to my country, the US. On June 4th I will finally be breathing Florida air again and I can’t wait. The next 20 days will be hard ones for I have much preparation to do and a few things to take care of before I go. But most of all I have to deal with the fact that I will be leaving behind to people who depend on me a lot, My mom and dad. As much as it pains me, I have to think abo...

Just curious how did you fellow JU users end up here. I found this place by mean coincidence. I use to hang out at this other site that I found where they had a section with tech news and sorts to post about. I found it entertaining to chat without using a chat program (good when you at work and can't install anything on the PC) and being able to express myself about topics I liked. I did how ever ended up leaving cause one of the users who was also a moderator began to have strong disagreemen...

According to E3insider.com, the long awaited Playstation 3 will finally make its debute in stores in November. But I advize extreme caution, you wallet and bank account will feel the pain when you find yourself shoving out between $500 and $600 for either the 20 GB or the 60 GB systems. Last time I spent that much money I bought a PC that could do more than play games, play music and watch movies. I mean, you have to be a super console gamer to want to pay that much for a system to play gam...

You gotta love this planet. Everywhere you go everyone is always trying to make a buck. But, is it always for food, shelter and family? Or is it cause money is like a drug, an addiction. The more you have the more you want. It seems that in today’s world everything is based on money, and on making as much of it as possible regardless of the person who gives you the money and what happens after they pay you. Can we really expect anything less from anyone? Even churches are based on making m...

Let me give you some background on the discussion I was having with my sister and her friend. The guy, my sisters friend, is thinking of starting a new business. His idea? Grocery home delivery, you make the list, he buys the food and delivers it, all for a small fee. Small because it's only $25 which I personally don't see bad. This is where the problem starts, out of curiousity I began to ask about how he plans to go about doing this. I was curious if he had considered the pros and cons ...

Ever wanted to join the US military forces just because you want to? Not because of necessity, money for school or the need to kill. I’m talking about looking at a commercial and feel that somehow you have the need to wear the uniform, the need to have the skills, the pride of going up ranks, the chance to control today’s most sophisticated vehicles, planes and weapons, the feel to know that you’re fighting for the lives of those you love and your country. I would like to feel that way, ev...

I saw this on The Discovery Channel on Future Weapons. The Corner Shot is a gadget that resembles an automatic weapon that allows you to mount many types of hand guns to the front of it and with its bending feature, thru a small lever under the gadget it can bend the Corner Shoot around the middle, it allows you to shoot the gun around a corner without exposing yourself at all. The Corner Shot has a mounted camera allowing you to see around the corner of a structure without exposing y...

You all should know by now I’m a big 80’s fan. I love the music, music videos, movies and yes the girls. But I also have another passion, cartoons of the 80’s. I’ll never forget those great cartoons such as He-Man, Galaxy Rangers, Voltron, Fat Albert, G.I. Joe and my all time favorite M.A.S.K. As good as some cartoons are now a days, they just can’t compare to those of the 80’s. Sure there are a few exceptions such as Dragonball Z Gundu...
