Amongst all the things I dream of having someday, a dream machine exist, a 1969 Chevy Camaro Convertible. This vehicle, considered a Muscle Car, has been part of the American lifestyle for over 30 years and it has been the fierce rival of the Ford Mustang since.

I first fell in love with this car when I was about 12 years old when I built my first model car. It just happen to be a 1975 Camaro, but I didn't even know it when I built it. Ever since I was hooked on the Camaro. I love all models, but the '69 Camaro stood out to me. I loved the covered lights, the Muscle Car look, the big tires in the back, the powerful engine. A car that could make the average man more interesting to most women. It was a babe magnet. Since then I knew that would be the car that I would one day buy and rebuild, a dream every man hopes to accomplish one day. I will get my chance, I look forward to taking a mechanics course just to be able to rebuild the engine myself. I will enjoy putting it together, hopefully with my 2 boys. Kinda like how Tim is in the TV show Home Improvement, but without the ambulance. I plan on sticking to the original look as much as possible, while still adding a few modern touches such as a better stereo system (hidden) while keeping the original radio in the dash.

It would be great to make a journal keeping track of the progress from the day I buy the car till it's final touches. I will even consider a blog site to post my progress, hopefully JU if I'm still around by the time I get to buying it.

Here's an idea of what I mean. This is the camaro used in the movie Charlie's Angels. When I first saw It I almost choked.

I would, however, like the stripes in red, or maybe backwards, red with white stripes.

Can I ride with you? And about the color, the one on the picture looks just fine, heck even all black it would look fine!
